The Riederalp can be reached by cable car in 10 minutes. In winter, the Aletsch ski area is easily reachable by ski bus and cable car. The entire Jungfrau-Aletsch region is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Free private parking is available. Transfers from Mörel Train Station are available on request. Breiten is located in Breiten/Mörel, 8 km away from the centre of Brig, in the middle of the world heritage Aletsch. With a cable car you can reach Riederalp within 10 minutes. In summer time you can enjoy wonderful hiking trips at the Aletsch forest, high above the Aletsch glacier - the longest glacier of the Alps. In winter time can you get to the ski area Altesch, including 99 km of ski runs, by ski-bus and cable car. You will find cross-country skiing facilities at the Goms valley. The slopes can be easily reached by the Cervin-Gotthard-train. Breiten is also a perfect starting point for hiking trips in the whole Upper Wallis.
